Math
Introduction
Math is often perceived as abstract, but when integrated with other subjects such as art, science, or social studies, it becomes more meaningful to students. For example, teachers can use hands-on activities like measuring objects in a science experiment or calculating the materials needed for a class art project to reinforce math concepts. Incorporating real-world problems such as budgeting for a class field trip or measuring for building structures allows students to see the practical applications of math (CDE, 2013).
